Privacy & Security First

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 2, 2026 • Last Updated: November 2, 2026

100% Client-Side Execution

All calculations in the interactive playground run directly in your browser using the compiled DaySafe JavaScript module. No HTTP requests or serverless functions are invoked for date math.

No Tracking or Storage

Dates of birth, invoice numbers, or personal schedule dates entered into any input fields are never saved to localStorage, cookies, or any remote database.

Zero Runtime Dependencies

The published daysafe npm package has exactly zero dependencies. There is zero risk of supply-chain attacks or unexpected network calls.

Audited Open-Source Code

Every line of code in DaySafe is publicly inspectable on GitHub under the permissive MIT License. You can inspect tests and algorithms freely.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

DaySafe operates under a strict privacy-by-design architecture:

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
  • We do not collect or log any dates, years, or inputs you test in the Playground.
  • We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site fingerprinting scripts.
  • We do not sell, rent, or monetize your data.

2. Server Logs and Hosting Infrastructure

This website is hosted statically via Vercel's global edge network. Like standard web servers, Vercel may collect standard non-identifying technical metadata (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and requested asset path) strictly for routing, DDoS defense, and infrastructure security. We do not correlate server logs with individual users.

3. Local Browser Storage

DaySafe uses minimal local storage solely to remember your UI color preference (Dark or Light theme) using next-themes. This data never leaves your device.

4. Third-Party Links

The website contains direct links to external services such as the npm registry (npmjs.com/package/daysafe) and GitHub (github.com/ajitdev01/daysafe). Please refer to their respective privacy policies when visiting those platforms.

5. Contact Information

For questions about this Privacy Policy or DaySafe security, contact maintainer Ajit Kumar at GitHub Issues or visit ajitdev.com.
