Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 2, 2026 • Last Reviewed & Verified: November 4, 2026
100% Client-Side Execution
All interactive playground date calculations run entirely inside your local browser thread using the bundled DaySafe module. Zero date strings or inputs are ever transmitted to a backend server.
No Tracking or Storage
We do not track user identities, employ fingerprinting techniques, or store date queries in remote databases or browser storage.
Zero Runtime Dependencies
The daysafe npm package has 0 dependencies. There are no sub-packages that can secretly inject telemetry, analytics, or external calls.
Open-Source Verifiability
Every line of code powering both the npm library and this website is public and auditable on GitHub under the permissive MIT License.
1. Project Maintainer & Scope
DaySafe (daysafe.ajitdev.com) is an open-source developer resource and documentation hub created and maintained by Ajit Kumar (@AjitDev01). This Privacy Policy outlines the operational and technical realities of our data handling practices across the website and the open-source npm library.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Consistent with our privacy-by-design architecture:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
- We do not record, store, or log any dates, birthdays, fiscal periods, or calendar arithmetic operations performed within the Playground.
- We do not use advertising networks, behavior tracking pixels, or cross-domain tracking pixels.
- We do not sell, rent, monetize, or broker any user information to any third parties.
3. Server Logs & Edge Infrastructure
The DaySafe website is hosted statically via Vercel's global content delivery network. When your browser requests pages, CSS files, or images, Vercel's infrastructure processes standard HTTP transmission requests. This transient technical metadata may include:
- IP address (used transiently by edge routing nodes to deliver responses and mitigate DDoS attacks)
- User-agent string and browser version
- Referrer headers and requested URL path
- HTTP response status code and response payload size
This infrastructure metadata is not combined with personal profiles and is handled in accordance with Vercel's infrastructure security practices.
4. Cookies & Local Browser Storage
DaySafe does not set any tracking, targeting, or profiling cookies.
The only browser client-side storage mechanism utilized is the HTML5 localStorage API, strictly used by next-themes to remember your selected visual preference (Dark mode vs. Light mode). This key-value pair remains purely on your physical device and is never transmitted over the network.
For further details, consult our dedicated Cookie Policy.
5. The Open-Source npm Package
The published daysafe package on npm contains pure TypeScript and JavaScript mathematical utilities. It makes no outgoing network requests, contains zero analytics probes, and has zero external dependencies. Installing or executing daysafe in your Node.js or browser application results in zero telemetry transmission to the maintainer.
6. External Services & Links
The Site provides external hyperlinks to developer platforms, including GitHub (github.com/ajitdev01/daysafe), the npm registry (npmjs.com/package/daysafe), and the maintainer's ecosystem sites. When you follow these external links, your interactions are governed by the privacy practices of those respective third-party platforms.
7. User Rights Under GDPR, CCPA, and Global Privacy Frameworks
Because DaySafe does not collect, retain, or monetize personal identifiable information (PII), we do not maintain databases of user records to disclose, correct, or delete. If you have questions regarding data privacy on this static site, you have the right to contact the maintainer at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
DaySafe is a technical software development library and educational tool intended for software engineers and web developers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16.
9. Contact Information
